This is how the group looks when assembled each Tues from 7:30 to 9:00 AM at the Crossridge Cafe in IL, SC. Some come early and leave early. Some arrive late and leave late. Coffee is free. Pic by Roger Terry taken Feb'25. Final resting place for the originator of the Veterans Coffee, Marine CPT Ray Dunsmore. HG member David Jordan accompanied the casket to its final destination in Illinois where full military honors were rendered. (2017) Roger Terry is the Sec'y-Treas. of the CPT Ray Dunsmore Vets Coffee. Treasurer part is easy since there are no dues. Ray Dunsmore, originator of the Veterans Coffee, in a photo taken at the VFW 2889 breakfast on 17 Jan 2017. Ray started this idea at McDonald's, then soon moved to CrossRidge Cafe where it has been ever since.
