On behalf of Commander-in-Chief Hal Roesch and the entire VFW Membership Department I would like to thank you for a job well done this past year. Despite being unable to hold community outreach and recruiting events in the usual manner due to COVID restrictions, we were still able to accomplish great things this past year.
Earlier today, Acting Undersecretary for Benefits Tom Murphy released the attached notice which states that VA will announce a plan to re-adjudicate claims for veterans who were previously denied service connection for a herbicide related presumptive condition due to lack of in-country Vietnam service.
This program was put in place to recognize VFW units for creating and completing unique and extraordinary community service projects.
Friends of the Fleet Pass can be purchased online or at the museum ticket window. The $69 pass includes annual admission for the pass-holder and a guest.
